You know, I have always been so grateful that Corbin has never pulled a poop-smear on us when I would listen to others tell their child rearing horror stories. I can now say that we are now part of the "in crowd". While I was out today, I left Corbin home with Tim. Corbin was supposed to be taking a nap. When I walked in the door Tim stared at me and said "Your son...." with that exasperated tone.
Corbin had pooped in his diaper, took it off, and then began using various means to "wipe" himself. He used toys, the carpet, opened the bag of diapers and tried those, his shirt, some swimming diapers, etc. When Tim found him he had poop all over the bedroom and all over his body- including near his mouth... (I don't even want to know!) ! After trying to clean everything up and giving Corbin a cool shower his bedroom still WREAKS! All we can figure is that more is blended into the ugly 80's brown carpet we have.
So... Tim is off to Albertsons to rent a Rug Doctor so we can clean his carpets.
In the meantime Corbin was put into Tekara's bedroom. When I went and checked on him again, he had torn up the bed sheet on her mattress.... ARGGGGG!

ha ha! You should trade stories with Ashlie! Her son i think is the same age as corbin and has done that multiple times!!! and some other naughty things! I just have to laugh!
Oh I am so glad Kambria never did that....but now I have Eli...a boy....so hopefully I will never have to deal with that!!!!!!!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!!!
oh man, yuck! he'll love it when you tell the story as he gets older and more humiliated... cody was pretty good about that, but he loved to pull the eggs out of the fridge and crack eggs them all over the house. stinky and gross!
So, we had to do three sessions on his carpet before the steam cleaner didn't #1 stink like pooh and #2 the water was reasonably clean without floaties...ewwww. Now I get to santize his toys today...yea for me! :)
ha ha ha ha!! I love it!! I am soooo glad Keeley was the only one to do that and that was only a little in her crib! Thankfully I have never had to deal with anything like it since!! Literally stinks to be you right now!! :) That ought to be quite the eventful day or two or three for you considering the clean up!! I'd say enjoy .....but I wouldn't enjoy it one bit! Just think how clean his things will be now! :) :) :)
ohmygosh.
Youve inspired me to duct tape my babys diaper to her body.
oh gross! I haven't quite had that experience. Kate only pooped on the floor one time, but was so freaked out she couldn't do anything else. So glad she doesn't like to be dirty!
Oh, the joys of parenthood;). Ava used to take her diaper off all the time (never had such horrible results though). We ended up duct taping the front during sleep times so she couldn't escape from the diaper!
