Sick, Sick, Sick and tired of being Sick...

So, things were going well since my last post... I was working out every day...doing great... and then BOOM! I got smacked with the worst flu bug I have had in a long time (well...since the one about four years ago that turned into pneumonia!)! I have been sick since the end of January! It started with a horrid headache followed by awful body aches... then came the attack on my sinuses and the head 'cold' set in. This bug is like the energizer bunny....it keeps going and going! After more than two weeks it has finally begun to subside and yesterday was the first time I had been outside of my apartment in weeks. All it did was go to Walmart for a few things and I was totally wiped out by the time I got back. Today was a little better...I ventured down to Idaho Falls to do some food shopping. This bug has mostly been reduced to a cough and some slight congestion. Now I just need drugs at night to be able to sleep (other wise I am hacking so hard Tim thinks I am literally coughing up a lung). The happy news is that through all this mess and not eating much I have now lost a total of 17 lbs since mid January, 6 of it while being sick.

I am eager to get totally healthy so I can start working out again and continue my efforts to get this body of mine ready for another baby.

Meanwhile, as luck would have it NO ONE ELSE got sick! Not that I would wish this on ANYONE- I am really glad that no one else got it.

Tim's now neck high in running the on-campus business his team put together for their core business class. It is called 'Stitches' and they are embroidering blankets, towels, shirts, aprons, beanies, and such. A team member's mother supplied the embroidery machines and they arrived today, so lucky me gets to train these folks how to use them. There is definitely an art to this and so hopefully I can get them to a point quickly that will produce acceptable results.

Corbin is obsessed with Mario Kart....be asks for it from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed. He is growing again...his growth spurts are typically accompanied by cries of 'I'm hungry' every 30 minutes no matter how much I have fed him earlier. He's already in 4T's and he just turned 3! Tekara is doing well in school as usual and spends her afternoons playing Rockband or listening to TV shows on Hulu.

As usual it's still cold here in Iceberg...19 degrees was the high today. I am so looking forward to Spring...but it is still several months away here... maybe April. **Sigh***

We are going up to Spokane for Easter Weekend!!! We are all looking forward to that!! Yea!
